As part of their learning journey at YIPS, interns will actively engage in a variety of tasks that foster both academic and personal growth.

Documenting observations and insights with clarity and professionalism.
Affirmation Collection
Gathering positive feedback and reflective affirmations from the internship experience.
Creative Designing
Contributing to visual or informational materials related to mental health awareness.
Case Illustrations
Presenting a minimum of five patient stories, focusing on real-world psychological understanding.
Presentation Skills
Creating and delivering a PowerPoint presentation on a relevant psychological topic.
Research Contribution
Preparing and submitting one paper presentation on an area of interest or internship learning.

Step 2 - Psychological Testing & Report Writing
Learn how to select appropriate psychological tests based on client needs.
Conduct testing sessions with supervision.
Prepare comprehensive psychological reports.
Discuss test findings with clients in a clear and empathetic manner
Step 3 - CBT & Therapeutic Skills
Design and structure Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) sessions.
Conduct CBT sessions with a focus on client engagement and progress.
Develop worksheets and plan mindfulness meditation content.
Address client self-esteem, confidence, and key personality traits.
Step 4 - Session Enhancement & Reflection
Broaden the scope of sessions as client needs evolve.
Collect and incorporate client feedback for continuous improvement.
Use affirmations as part of therapeutic work.
