Counselling Psychology Internship – Module IV
Conduct Disorders in Children and Adolescents (Ages 10–18 Years)
This internship module is designed to equip interns with the skills necessary to assess and support children and adolescents exhibiting conduct-related concerns.
It integrates psychological assessment, case conceptualization, and behavior-focused therapeutic approaches.

- Conducting comprehensive case history interviews and mental status examinations
- Engaging clients through rapport-building activities and age-appropriate icebreakers
- Clarifying and re-explaining cases to caregivers and clients
- Introducing families to the purpose and process of psychodiagnostic assessments
- Selecting and administering appropriate psychological tests
- Scoring, interpreting, and analyzing test results
- Drafting detailed clinical reports
- Leading or observing report discussions with clients and caregivers
- Developing personalized treatment plans
This module provides a strong foundation for real-world clinical work, bridging academic knowledge with practical application.
Therapeutic Exposure
Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for behavioral management.
Planning and observing structured CBT sessions focused on emotional regulation, impulse control, and social skills.

Presenting one research-based paper related to conduct disorders or intervention strategies.
